Pursuing holiness was a topic this past Sunday at the Village Church in Flower Mound, TX.  Krystle and I were privileged to be able to go there for a week of refreshment before beginning our new work at First Baptist Church Ropesville.  The trip and church service were a great time for me to spend time with my beautiful wife, as well as refocus my disires on the new church and the students there.  However, as He usually does, the Lord made it very clear that work must still be done on me before I will be useful to the church at Ropes. 

the idea of holiness has never been something that was pursued.  It seemed to be more of a byproduct of the relationship that we, as Christians, have with Jesus.

My hope is that I will pursue holiness in my efforts to be obedient to the scriptures of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
